When husband-and-wife real estate agents, Nadija Begovich and Dan Broad, went hunting for a vehicle to represent their business, Perth Property Co, a new IVECO Daily 35S suited their needs perfectly.

Start-to-finish service

The couple combined their backgrounds in insurance, mortgage broking, home sales and styling to launch the firm in 2017, giving their clients a complete end-to-end property service solution.

“Having both worked in the industry for some years with other companies, we identified areas in which we thought we could do things better,” Nadija explained.

“As the business owners, one of our main points of difference is our commitment – we recognise the financial and emotional investments that people have in their properties and our promise to them is that we’ll work tirelessly to achieve the best outcomes for their sale.”

Taking centre stage

A key part of the business is Nadija and Dan’s ability to offer a complementary staging service. Styling a home for sale, including the use of furniture, plants, artworks and homewares, is a service for which many vendors pay a high premium. And when it’s time to shift all those items from the Perth Property Co’s warehouse, the new Daily – which has replaced a smaller van – proves invaluable.

“Servicing the greater Perth area, on many occasions we found ourselves needing to make multiple journeys from our warehouse to the properties we were staging, and we were losing a lot of time doing this,” Nadija said.

“This led us to consider if there were better alternatives, and initially we looked at pantech-bodied cab/chassis before we discovered the IVECO Daily van could give us the space we needed but in a much nicer package.”

Room to move

After visiting Perth IVECO dealership, AV Trucks, Nadija and Dan opted for the 35S Daily with 12m³ volume capacity, 180hp Euro6 engine and eight-speed full automatic transmission.

The van’s generous proportions and internal height of 1900mm makes it easy to load and unload, allowing the couple to stand upright in the cargo area without having to worry about bumping their heads.

Despite the generous load volume and capacity, the IVECO Daily 35S is still a nimble proposition to get around town.

“The Daily fits in a standard parking bay, it’s manoeuvrable, easy to drive, and has all the safety equipment we wanted and, importantly, it’s saving us a lot of time,” she said.

“As well as being really functional, we think the van looks modern and it’s equipped with all the luxuries – even heated seats. It’s definitely in another league to what we were using previously.”

To stand out on the road, The Perth Property Co Daily features a colourful custom wrap in company branding, while on the inside the van is fitted with rubber floor lining to protect its cargo.
